Fechner Day 2009 will be held in the 5-star Glenlo Abbey Hotel (see map). On-site activities include golf, fishing, and clay-pigeon shooting. The hotel has 45 luxurious and spacious rooms with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The conference will make use of the hotel's 120-seat and 60-seat seminar rooms, as well as an additional meeting room. Registration fees include a copy of the Fechner Day 2009 proceedings, a light lunch and coffee and snacks during each day of the conference.

There will be a wine reception on the evening of Wednesday, October 21st, where a selection of canapes will be served. Live traditional Irish music will be played each night of the conference in the hotel bar. And on Saturday, October 24th, the conference banquet will be held.
